What we measure

We track what changes after the classroom

Every engagement agrees its measures up front, sets a baseline in the Assess stage and reviews progress at three and twelve months.

Team performance

Goal attainment and engagement in the teams our leaders lead.

Service delivery

Turnaround times, citizen and customer satisfaction.

Staff retention

Whether good people stay — and grow.

Pipeline strength

Ready-now successors for critical roles.

Case studies

Challenge · Intervention · Result

A community meeting in the shade
38%faster response to reported faults

Public sector · Southern Africa

Turning around service delivery at a city water utility

A municipal water utility

Challenge

Customer complaints were rising, response times were slipping and middle managers felt they had little authority to fix problems on the ground.

Intervention

A twelve-week Public-Sector Leadership journey for 40 managers: a 360° baseline, practical modules on citizen-centred delivery, and live improvement projects coached to completion.

Result

Managers led 11 improvement projects. Average response time to faults fell sharply within six months and the utility adopted the approach for all new supervisors.

2×more critical roles with ready successors

Financial services · East Africa

Building a ready-now succession pipeline for a regional bank

A regional commercial bank

Challenge

Half of the bank’s critical roles had no identified successor, and promising managers were leaving for competitors.

Intervention

Organisational Transformation Advisory: a leadership diagnostic, a succession framework the board could own, and an Emerging Leaders cohort for 30 nominated managers.

Result

Critical roles with a ready-now or ready-soon successor rose from half to most within a year, and regretted attrition among high-potential staff fell.

Agriculture · West Africa

Accelerating women into senior roles in agribusiness

An agribusiness group

Challenge

Women made up a large share of the workforce but very few senior managers, and the group wanted a pipeline it could evidence.

Intervention

A sponsored Women in Leadership cohort with executive sponsors, negotiation and career-strategy modules, and a follow-up review at twelve months.

Result

Within a year, a third of the cohort had been promoted or taken on larger roles, and every participant had an executive sponsor.

Testimonials

In our participants’ words

The programme changed how I lead my team. I stopped trying to have every answer and started building a team that finds them.

For the first time, the cases in the room were our cases — African institutions, African markets, African people. It made everything usable on Monday morning.

My coach helped me through my first ninety days as a manager. The peer circle is still my sounding board two years on.
